Our Creyos Health screenings assess cognitive function and can be used for baseline evaluations, offering a reference point into “normal” behavior. Athletic trainers, therapists or medical providers use information from these tests to help determine treatment, make return-to-play decisions for athletes and track overall patient recovery. If no baseline exists, testing results can be compared to a secure, vast database of non-concussed individuals to see if “deficiencies” in normal day-to-day mental functions are present following traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

How Does Creyos Health Work?
Creyos Health is a leading online platform for cognitive assessment. The test provides us with insightful and accurate reporting and can be taken almost anywhere on a desktop or tablet, using common inputs like touch or a mouse. Your MAC Alliance provider can customize the test to each patient as needed, honing in on specific brain areas.
The test is simple and takes about 20 minutes. Patients complete an unintimidating online assessment with engaging cognitive tasks designed to help measure:
- Concentration
- Reasoning
- Memory
- Verbal abilities
- Planning
We then compare your results to a large and growing database of individuals your own age to determine recovery after a brain injury, which makes the judgment of “normal” even more scientifically sound and reliable. We can monitor your health to make sure treatment plans are working and discover change in cognition and/or track trends over time.
Virtual Testing
Computerized neurocognitive testing, like Creyos Health testing, provide neurologists and other healthcare providers excellent tools to assess post-brain injury cognition. Because of the rapid increase in telemedicine availability that came in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now able to accommodate our patients remotely. Creyos Health Is Featured on the Revolutionary New MAC-Cart
Creyos Health screenings are part of our portable, affordable new MAC Brain Health Cart. MAC-Cart is a game changer in brain health and concussion baselining testing, diagnosis and treatment. Right now, we have 10 MAC-Carts testing in the Mid-Atlantic region. While the MAC-Cart will not be widely available until March 1, 2021, we are continuing to send prototypes into the field for testing.
